?Acquisition of an Enterprise: Questions of German and Chinese Law?
Interactive Workshop for Law Students
16 May 2017, 14-17:30h
MZG Blauer Turm, 13th floor, Room 13.122
The cross-border acquisition of enterprises ranks among the most seminal issues in contemporary Chinese-German economic relations. It raises highly topical questions concerning diverse areas of law, including Corporate Law, Contract Law and International Economic Law.
In collaboration with Baker & McKenzie, one of the world?s largest international law firms, the Institute of International and European Law, Department of International Economic and Environmental Law, the Sino-German Institute for Legal Studies and ELSA Göttingen e.V. will convene an interactive workshop for law students, dealing with practical questions of German and Chinese law that lawyers face when advising clients in cross-border acquisitions.
The event is open for all law students (all semesters) and students enrolled in one of the courses of the Sino-German Institute. It forms part of the lecture ?Cases and Developments in International Economic Law?, convened by Prof. Dr. Peter-Tobias Stoll.
