Samuel Siewers, M.Sc.
Samuel Siewers is a researcher at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) and PhD candidate at the Chair of Development Economics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Fuchs. His main research interests are development economics, political economy, and environmental regulation.
Samuel holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a Master’s degree from Heidelberg University. In the fall of 2024, Samuel was a visiting PhD student at the University of Cambridge's Conservation Research Institute.
